In a tragic twist to the ongoing uproar for Kapu reservations, a 53-year-old man named Cheekatla Venkataramanamurthy hanged himself demanding BC reservations for Kapus. Police recovered a suicide note from his pocket and it revealed several desperate state of affairs.
As per the media reports, Venkataramanamurthy, in his suicide note, made a striking comment against film star and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Venkataramanamurthy said that Kapus have been waiting for Pawan's intervention in the Kapus issue and strive for Kapus' welfare.
Venkataramanamurthy further said that Pawan's Janasena party, which claimed to 'question' the injustice, ended up without posing any questions. Incidentally, Venkataramanamurthy ended his life in the evening after Pawan's press meet concluded.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan, right since the formation day of Janasena party until the yesterday's press meet, kept on saying that he will never fight for a particular community and that he only longs for national integration. Time for some introspection?
