While trying to control the fake votes, Election Commission of India has coordinated Chief ElectoralOfficers (CEO) of all States and Union Territories to show the photographs of hopefuls on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) or Ballot Papers for the races to be held from May first, 2015.
Along these lines, The EVMs and Ballot Papers will have Names and Photos of hopefuls alongside Symbols from now onwards. In 2014 Lok Sabha surveys, NCP Maharashtra-unit President Sunil Tatkare lost the surveys by a slim edge of 2,100 votes simply due to a sham hopeful recorded by Rivals.
A sham competitor with the same name Sunil Tatkare figured out how to get 9,500 votes only in light of the fact that voters got confounded. Therefore, Election Commission of India chose to put an end to such shameful moves in discretionary legislative issues with the new move.
The outcomes could honey bee seen in Assembly decisions to be held soon in Bihar, Pondicherry, Assam, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Kerala.
